In general, I think of myself and my website as part of your escape from the world. I try to stay in a sweet spot between fantasy and reality. I can no longer keep myself from writing about the news of this week. I am deeply saddened that such a tragedy occured on Monday. I have the families of the massacre in my heart and thoughts. I was having my own reaction to it but, I must speak about NBC. I am outraged that they decided to show the murderer’s videos. I think that NBC should have taken the high road and announced that they would not give a murderer television time. They are sending the wrong message by airing his disturbing videos. I am writing all of this on my blackberry, very sort of stream-of-conciousness. So, please forgive any errors. Did anyone else notice the disturbing sketch from SNL last week where there were some kids shooting each other? Is that funny? God bless the families of the murdered. Please let us also remember the many men and women overseas in the war wounded and dead and their families. Out of sight, out of mind? Out of country, out of mind? Give them more news coverage. Not a murderer!
