art.com is a new site I discovered today. I was searching for a
cheesy San Francisco vintage-y poster for my LA pad. I ordered the
TWA poster for SF that shows California Street Cable Cars and a
glimpse at the Bay Bridge. I had it mounted on canvas. art.com is a
great site. They have a neat feature where it will show you what
different pieces look like with a wide array of frames. They will
mount anything to canvas, frame it, or laminate it. God, laminate
sounds awful. But, overall a fun little site to purchase those
familiar images and some not-so-familiar.

I have a fascination with Biographies. My favourites are old
Hollywood actresses. I have always been intrigued by Marie Antoinette
and her incredible life. Well, now I get to revel in the fashion,
decadence, and drama of her story at the cinema. Sofia Coppola is due
to release her third feature entitled Marie Antoinette on October 20.
She actually got the keys to Versailles from the French government to
shoot her film inside the historical chateau. I am busy reading the
biography that inspired the film, Marie Antoinette: The Journey by
Antonia Fraser. Sony Pictures has a fun website for the film with
facts, tidbits, galleries, and world wide release dates. It is so
sad, Syria will have to wait until March to see this epic piece.

So, I was feeling a bit blue and missing San Francisco after my move to Beverly Hills. My brilliant decorator flew in to rescue me. We dove right into the kind of therapy I needed.
