If I lived in London, I would weekend here.  The property is a 650
acre private estate in the Cotswolds.  This is an ideal place to have
a modern home on a lake and have access to many outdoor activities.
The best part of the website is under Local Portrait and then under
People.  I like to read aloud in a British accent their little
statements.  It is fabulous.

I’ve always been a fan of Le Sportsac handbags, luggage, and
accessories. There are some very unfashionable people still rocking
their older styles. But, don’t let that ruin your vision of the
brand. Stella Mc Cartney has just designed a line of handbags,
travel, kids, and accessories in a recycled eco polyester fabric.

They are adorable and fun. I especially like the “Pop Print”.

I have always been a fan of paper correspondence.  It is so much more
satisfying to give and receive a beautiful card in an actual mailbox.
I have just found these darling cards at the store Yolk.  But, they
can always be found directly through the designer’s website.

So, go ahead and send a card to someone.  Please don’t e-card.  It is
just so tacky.

Rhombus Wear is a great new clothing company from NYC.  The clothes
are described by the designers as “Nerdy, Studious, and Cool”.  I love
their “mood” button under “collection” on their website.   I ordered
the James dress shirt in Gingham and the Amelia sleeveless t-shirt in
the “Standardized Test” print.  I have always had a thing for preppy
school clothes.

Rising from the low-rise skyline view on the Bowery, the New Museum evokes anunbuilt San Francisco Prada store. It is more than a museum. The stylish bookshelvesin the lobby let you know that clearly this is not another temple to Conspicuousconsumption, this is a temple dedicated to exhibiting modern art fromaround the world. Tokyo architects Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawabring a confident modern flair to lower Manhattan.
