Not all thought coming out of Cambridge is narcissistic and self indulgent.. Well Passion Pit’s manager told me otherwise, but we’ll ignore artistic narcissism and self indulgent for arguments sake.

Cambridge based electronic band Passion Pit has been making a lot of noise this year.

The track Passion Pit especially captures the paranoid beauty inherent in the modern world. I listened to this song a lot during the death of Michael Jackson, and it seemed to fit perfectly with the tabloidesque freakshow that has become pop culture. Passion Pit’s revives hope in the creative ability of humanity.
